Please read carefully the hire terms and conditions as outlined below, you will be asked to agree to sign a disclaimer on the day of the hire of all units. Failure to sign the disclaimer on site shall result in the cancellation of the booking immediately.

In the event of the disclaimer not being signed on the day either by error or by being signed incorrectly, fraudulently or by any other person nominated by the actual hirer. the conditions of the hire will remain intact, by virtue of the fact that all relevant conditions are outlined on this web site which is part of our advertising and the unit was accepted by the hirer on the basis that an opportunity to read all terms of hire are on public view and are accessible at all times for anyone to read and query.

As a definition "inflatable, bouncy castle, equipment or unit" shall mean any inflatable or unit of equipment hired from the company.
The term "company","us","a1", shall refer to A1 bouncy castle hire limited /commonly referred to a1 bouncy castles...
It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring this Bouncing Castle/Inflatable to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid NO.1 .any injury to persons, No.2 damage to private property & No. 3. Damage to the Inflatable/equipment.

Please ensure that the following safety instructions and booking conditions are followed:

" All of the inflatable's (units) have a weight limit of 80 kg. Please ensure nobody over this weight uses the equipment.
" Under no circumstances should adults use the bouncy castle or unit.
" No food, drinks, chewing gum or any materials which are likely to be dangerous or dirty to be allowed on or near the inflatable. Please note if the Inflatable is collected in a dirty condition then the person hiring it will incur a cleaning charge of € 100.
" All shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges or other materials that might be considered dangerous MUST be removed before using the inflatable.
" No face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string to be used either on or near the inflatable.
" No smoking or barbeques near the inflatable.
" Climbing, hanging or sitting on walls is DANGEROUS and must not be allowed.
" A responsible Adult must supervise the inflatable at all times.
" WARNING! -- Never leave unit running unattended.
" DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO OPERATE UNIT.
" NEVER UN-PLUG WHILE IN USE.
" Always ensure that the inflatable is not overcrowded, and limit numbers according to the age and size of children using it. Try to avoid large and small Children from using it at the same time.
" Children are not to push, collide, fight or behave in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.
" No pets, toys, shoes or sharp instruments.
" If the Bouncy Castle is not being used for any part of the day, please switch the blower off at the mains.
ENSURE THE UNIT IS EMPTY OF CHILDERN FIRST!
" Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step as a Child could easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt. The step is there to assist users in getting on or off!
" Ensure that nobody with any illness or history of back, neck or other joint problems etc is allowed on the inflatable as indeed any Child who is feeling unwell.
" Do not allow anyone to be on the unit during inflation or deflation as this is DANGEROUS.
" Please ensure that Children are not attempting somersaults or horseplay and are clothed appropriately and that nothing can fall out of their pockets.
" Ensure that an area of 9 feet (2.5 metres) around the unit is completely clear.
" The inflatable should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area. If no shower cover is fitted and in the event of rain, the unit should not be used.
" In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that the inflatable be switched off. Any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel.
" In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately. Make sure the blower tube or deflation tube has not come undone or something has not blown onto and is obstructing
The blower. In the event that it overheats, or loses power, switch the blower off at the mains, then switch it back on again 1 or 2 minutes later, it should restart. If it does not, inform us straight away.
" Do NOT move this unit from where it has been set up. Do not use the unit near any swimming pools.
" Pregnant women are not permitted to use any of our inflatables as a safety precaution.
" If multiple of units are hired then the hirer must provide an adult supervisor for each unit.

READ THIS CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING.
We have received questions regarding the responsibility of accidents that may be caused by children due to rough-play (somersaults or wrestling). Under law, it is the responsibility of the hirer of the inflatable to safeguard & supervise the children in their care and to make sure the children play safely;it is also the responsability of the hirer to make sure that the guide lines for safety are strictly adhered to and inforced.
if you require further precautionary measures you can arrange paid supervision from A1 BOUNCY CASTLES LTD. to ensure safety protocols are followed at all times. A1 BOUNCY CASTLE HIRE LTD is NOT responsible and will not accept liability in any way for the careless actions of any persons using the unit while in the care or under the supervision of the hirer.
If you are worried about your personal insurance cover, then we advise you to first check with your home/ business/ premices/property insurance company to be sure they cover you for this kind of liability.
if you dont have insurance in place , dont book with us .

DEFINITION OF A DAYS HIRE.
We will deliver the equipment in the morning between 8.00am and 1.00 pm.
We will collect the equipment any time after 6.30 pm ON THE SAME DAY.
Note; some times equipment is left in situ overnight due to us not being able to collect it the same day as a result of logistical problems . we will then collect it the following morning if agreeable with the hirer.
on occasion a hirer will request the equipment to be delivered at a specific time, if it is physically possible to do this we will endevor to do this. if it is not possible the delivery time will some time between 8.00am and 1.oo pm.on the day of the hire.We may even deliver the previous night if agreeable with the customer.
if a customer specifically asks that we do not collect a unit on the same day ie. the customer wants to keep the unit overnight we can do this at an extra charge, and only at the discretion of the company as some times it would not be possible to fascilitate this for logistical and other reasons such as security of the equipment, type of event, or the unit could be booked to another customer for the next day and would need to be returned .
What must be noted is that all equipment while on the property of the hirer or in the care of the hirer is the sole responsibility of the hirer until such time as it is collected by A1 bouncy castle hire ltd.
Security , supervision and the care of the equipment is the hirers responsibility from time of hand-over to the time of collection.

BASICALLY THE DEFINITION OF A DAY HIRE IS,
WE WILL DELIVER THE UNIT BEFORE 1.00 PM UNLESS OTHERWISE AGREED.
WE WILL COLLECT THE UNIT ANY TIME AFTER 6.30 PM UNLESS OTHER WISE AGREED.


DAMAGE POLICY.
We will deliver the unit in perfect working order. We expect to collect the same unit and the same amount of equipment undamaged and clean. We will charge for the repair or replacement of any section of equipment that has been damaged through abuse. We expect the unit to be clean for the next customer; if it is unacceptably dirty after reasonable use then we will charge a standard cleaning fee of 100 Euros.

INSURANCE.
All equipment is used at the risk of the hirer. (Customer). The persons/property owner/manager hiring a unit from A1 BOUNCY CASTLE HIRE LIMITED should be aware that the proper public liability insurance through their house ,club, hall, school, organisation etc.is in place to fully insure all persons using the units on the property.

SECURITY.
The unit must never under any circumstances be taken away by any one other than a1 bouncy castles. If in doubt contact us immediately to confirm identity of collector. Any theft from a hirer's property or from a location selected by the hirer of a1 equipment will have to be paid for by the hirer. We will only accept the replacement of our equipment with new identical equipment .no cash alternative will be accepted.If left over night it is the responsibility of the hirer to secure the equipment .

USE OF OUR EQUIPMENT AND INFLATABLES ON PROPERTY THAT IS NOT LEGALLY THE `PROPERTY OWNED /OR UNDER THE NORMAL CONTROL` OF THE HIRER.

We are asked from time to time to erect the bouncing castles & marquees and associated equipment on property such as for example a green area communal to a number of houses, or in a car park ,or any public place like parks, schools ,gaa pitches, community centres, general grassed /green areas belonging to the council or to another person not connected with the hirer or the family of the hirer.
A1bouncy castles can not check the ownership rights of every property that we arrive to. But the hirer can check , and is obliged to check and obtain permission from the land/property owner that the equipment, the people and the activity associated with the equipment are allowed on to the property. This is a condition of hire and if it is not carried out by the hirer then we advise you not to go ahead with booking from us. If we arrive on to the hirers choosen location, we will assume that all checks have been carried out and permission is in place. We strongly recommend that the hirer arranges insurance cover for the activity on the property as A1 bouncy castle hire ltd will not accept any liability as a result of an accident occuring on the property.Any risk or liability that arises from hire of our equipment rests with the person making the booking/ the hirer ,any complaint or trespass action is also to be the responsability of the hirer.So please check first , get confirmation in writing, then book with us .

INCLEMENT WEATHER.( IE.WIND RAIN ) POLICY:
DURING PERIODS OF SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS (I.E. HEAVY RAIN, HIGH WINDS, ETC.), WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL YOUR BOOKING. IF CONDITIONS ARE NOT TOO SEVERE (e.g. light breeze, misty weather) WE WILL GIVE YOU THE OPTION OF ACCEPTING THE UNIT OR NOT.
IF YOU DECIDE TO KEEP THE UNIT FOR THE TERM OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT, THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR INCLEMENT WEATHER RESULTING IN LACK OF USE!

POSITIONING OF UNITS.
It is up to the hirer to point out where the unit is to be sited. we carry 20 meter/ 60 ft approx long, 220v extention leads. the unit must be in a location within the radius/ length of one of these extention leads. it is not up to us to supply an endless amount of power cable to facilitate the hirer in placing a unit over 60 meters away. if this is has to be done the hirer must supply suitable power to make up for the extra meters to be reached.we will only place the unit on a hard surface if there is no other option and under the direction of the hirer. it is impossible to fully peg down an inflatable on a hard surface such as tarmac, concrete, timber flooring. if there is an anchor point in reach of our tie down points we will use this once the wind speed is below a light breeze, in higher wind we reserve the right to cancell your booking or insist on moving to a more suitable site.

UNITS ON PUBLIC PROPERTY.
If a unit is placed on a public property, the hirer must have permission from the local authority, or land owner to have the equipment placed and used on that property. we will not accept responsibility for any personal injurys or damage to property as a result of being instructed by the hirer to place the unit on property not in the ownership of the hirer. It is the responsibility of the hirer to get the permission and A1 will have to have a signed declaration from the hirer that permission has been given for the use of the property for this activity.All responsibilty for the safety and supervision of the activity as well as any legal liabilities wil lie with the hirer. If permission has not been given for the use of the property cancell any booking with us,or refrain from asking us to quote for a booking in the first place if you feel that permission would not be possible to obtain.

DEPOSITS.

For busy times of the year such as may we would require a deposit to be sent to us of approx 20% of the value of the booking to secure the booking fully. We would require the deposit within 10 working days from time of booking or we may cancel the booking without notice. All deposits are to be sent by cheque or postal orders made out to a1 bouncy castle hire ltd. DO NOT SEND CASH IN THE POST. We will not be held responsible for lost cash or cheques that have been sent or claimed to have been sent in the post and that have not reached us. A copy of every cheque /po sent is kept on file by us for our records.
DO NOT SEND CASH.

A1 CANCELLATION POLICY.
A1 bouncy castle hire ltd reserve the right to cancel any booking at short notice.
We will provide a service to the best of our ability at all times. Unfortunately there may be times when due to circumstances completely out of our control we can not provide a service, thankfully this is a very rare occurrence. In the case of us cancelling a booking for whatever reason e.g. unsuitable weather, safety considerations, damage occurring to the unit to be hired, vehicle breakdown etc. we will let the customer know as soon as is reasonably possible, we will apologise, refund any deposit that has been sent, offer an alternative unit or offer an alternative booking date for the original unit. This cancellation would only ever occur when all reasonable steps have been taken to provide an alternative unit on the day. Or get another vehicle to transport the units. If all else fails we will provide another date for delivery subject to availability of the specific unit.


CUSTOMER CANCELLATION POLICY.
If for any reason a customer decides to cancel a booking there is no problem with that, we understand that from time to time this will occur.
All we ask is that the customer would have the courtesy to inform us at the earliest possible oppertunity.If we are allowed to travel to the customers premises and are then told that the hire is cancelled for no genuine reason ,we will not be able to supply that customer again in to the future. #


PAYMENT.
Payment is strictly cash on delivery. AS OF SEPT 20010 NO CHEQUES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
The amount agreed when booking is not to be changed later for any reason.
Any unpaid moneys for services rendered will be persued through a debt collection agency nominated by A1 bouncy castle hire ltd.
If nessessary we will use the courts to recover debts and it is our policy to persue the debetor for all costs and expences associated with the collection of the debt.


WE WANT YOU TO ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE OF USING OUR EQUIPMENT.

WE EXPECT YOU THE HIRER TO ADHERE TO THE ADVICE WE GIVE ON SAFETY FOR THE SAKE OF THE SAFETY OF THE CHILDREN AND PEOPLE USING THIS EQUIPMENT.WE CANNOT AND WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CARELESS ACTIONS OF THE HIRER THROUGH NEGLECTING TO SUPERVISE THE USE OF THE EQUIPMENT SAFELY.WE HAVE LISTED THE MAIN SAFETY POINTS THAT OUR EXPERIENCE HAS THOUGHT US TO LOOK OUT FOR. HOWEVER IT IS NOT UNUSUAL FOR PEOPLE TO TRY OUT SILLY AND DANGEROUS ACTIONS WITH OUR UNITS. WE CANNOT LIST EVERY DO AND DON'T. SO THE RESPONSIBILITY OF REASONABLE CARE AND SAFE, MATURE JUDGEMENT RESTS WITH THE HIRER/ADULT SUPERVISOR. IF YOU FEEL THAT YOU CANNOT BE CONFIDENT ENOUGH IN YOUR OWN ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND OUR ENGLISH INSTRUCTIONS IN RELATION TO THE OPERATING PROCEDURES FOR SUPERVISING THE USE OF THE UNIT-DO NOT GO AHEAD WITH ANY BOOKING. IF YOU FEEL UNSURE AT ANY TIME BEFORE OR DURING THE HIRE OF ANY ASPECT OF THE SAFE USE OF THE UNIT, EVACUATE THE UNIT, PHONE US IMMEDIATLY, AND ASK OUR ADVICE BEFORE CONTINUING.
